Mike has a map showing states he’s visited. I think we have a lot in common, in that we haven’t been lucky enough to see Montana and smart enough to avoid West Virginia.
Here’s what I came up with, only 42 40 states.

Yes, a few cross-country drives and you cover a lot of ground. I wonder what state is the least visited? (I’m guessing Alaska, North Dakota then Idaho?). Are these tempting targets for future vacations? Surely I could knock out those New England states in one trip.
And how I’ve missed Portland and Oregon in general, is a mystery indeed.

Waittaminit? They make fun of West Virginia in Texas, too? I thought that was mostly an Ohio thing. You guys pick on the Okies, don’t ya?
